Calendar Alarm Privacy Policy
Web app, installed Android app and Calendar Alarm Passwords browser extension
Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Who operates Calendar Alarm
Calendar Alarm is provided by Clinique dentaire global dent Saint-Denis inc. (Globaldent). This policy describes the Calendar Alarm web app, installed Android app and Calendar Alarm Passwords browser extension. Questions about privacy may be sent to administrator@globaldent.ca. Our website is https://globaldent.ca/.
2. Information used by the app
Calendar Alarm processes the information you enter or import, such as events, tasks, alarm times, titles, notes and selected audio or attachments. It also processes account identifiers and authentication/session information needed for sign-in and synchronization. Password-vault features process login usernames or emails, passwords, website or app identifiers, and optional vault details such as notes, labels and attachments.
3. Why information is used
Information is used to display and manage your calendar, deliver alarms and notifications, synchronize with your configured Calendar Alarm server, manage access and sharing you select, and save or fill credentials at your request. Data entered in calendar notes or attachments may contain personal information; only enter information appropriate for your organization's authorized use of the service.
4. Local storage, synchronization and backups
The app stores information on your device or in browser storage to support use and pending changes while the server is unavailable. When configured and signed in, it exchanges data with the Calendar Alarm server. The clinic deployment uses a private clinic server. Server storage and backups may contain calendar and account data. Calendar information and ordinary exports should not be assumed to have the same encryption protection as password-vault records. Exported files are stored wherever you choose to save them.
5. Password-vault protection
Password-vault records are encrypted before being saved or synchronized. Unlocking makes their contents available on the device for the requested vault operation. The extension uses the master password in memory to derive an unlock key; it does not persist the master password. While a vault is unlocked, the app or extension can access the decrypted information needed to display, save or fill entries. Treat exported backups and recovery material as confidential.
6. Browser extension and website access
The extension connects to the Calendar Alarm web app address you choose. When invoked, it reads supported login fields on the selected page. If optional login-field suggestions are enabled, packaged extension code observes relevant form focus and input on HTTPS pages to prepare login drafts and show save/fill controls. Saving and filling require a user action. Filling places credentials into the chosen website; that website's privacy practices then apply. Additional website addresses can be linked to an existing login through explicit approval.
7. Extension session and draft retention
The configured Calendar Alarm address is stored locally in the browser. Unlock keys and temporary save drafts are held in extension-restricted browser session storage. The extension clears unlock state when you lock it or close all normal and popup Edge windows. Save drafts become unusable after five minutes and are removed on subsequent draft operations, locking or session cleanup. Temporary form drafts in page memory also expire after five minutes. Removing the extension does not delete logins already saved in your Calendar Alarm vault.
8. Android fingerprint and autofill
When you enable biometric vault access on a supported Android device, Android performs the biometric authentication. Calendar Alarm does not receive or store a fingerprint image or biometric template. A protected copy of the vault unlock key is stored on the device using Android Keystore protection and released through successful system authentication. Android autofill processes supported login fields and the target app or website identity to offer saving or filling. You can manage biometric access in vault settings and the autofill service in Android settings.
9. Android permissions
Depending on the features you use and device settings, Calendar Alarm requests permissions needed for notifications, exact alarms and biometric authentication. Alarm-related services may wake the device, play selected audio, vibrate or show an alarm screen. Network access supports communication with the configured server. The operating system controls permission availability and revocation.
10. Recipients and service boundaries
The configured Calendar Alarm server receives data needed for synchronization and account operations. Credentials are supplied to a target website or app only when used for filling. Sharing features make selected information available to the recipients you choose. The browser extension contains no advertising, analytics or telemetry service and does not send credentials to advertising or analytics providers. The browser, Android, destination websites and the public Globaldent website may have separate privacy practices.
11. Retention and deletion
App and server records are retained to provide the service until removed through available controls or handled by the organization's retention process. Trash, synchronization copies and backups may retain information after an entry is removed from the active view. Exported files remain where they were saved until separately deleted. Uninstalling an app or clearing a browser does not automatically delete server records, other devices' copies or exported backups. Contact the clinic administrator for assistance with account data, retention and deletion requests.
12. Your controls
You can lock the vault, manage saved entries, choose sharing recipients, disable optional extension website access, disable Android autofill, and manage applicable device permissions. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information by contacting administrator@globaldent.ca. The organization will assess requests in light of the applicable data, account permissions and retention obligations.
